The new Marvel movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is starting a new phase in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel movies usually have post-credits scenes, but the number can vary from one movie to another. Some movies have two, some have one, and some have none at all. The most post-credits scenes in any Marvel movie is five. Since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an important part of the overall Marvel story, it’s likely to have at least one post-credits scene, but we don’t know how many for sure. Read below to know how many post-credits scenes are in Ant-man Quantumania.
How many post-credits scenes in Ant-man Quantumania?
After the main movie of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, there are two more scenes. The first is in the middle of the credits, and the second is at the very end. In the first one, three versions of the villain Kang talk about how the characters in the Marvel movies are dealing with different universes. They plan to attack, and when they go outside, they see a lot of other Kangs from different universes. In the second scene, a man named Victor Timely shows off his new technology. The characters Loki and Mobius are watching, and Loki thinks he looks like a different version of the villain Kang.
1. Council of Kangs
In the extra scene at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we see three versions of the villain Kang. They are part of a group called the Council of Kangs, who want to rule over different parts of the multiverse. Two of them are similar to their comic book versions, while the third is new or a redesign. One Kang is an Egyptian pharaoh, and another is more manipulative than violent. The new scenes might give clues about what will happen in future Marvel movies. In the comics, Prime Kang is the leader, but in the movie, Immortus is in charge. They are not working against each other like in the comics. Instead, they want to keep their own kingdoms safe. However, they see Ant-Man and the Avengers as a threat, so they will fight them in the next phase of Marvel movies.
Even though Ant-Man was able to defeat one version of Kang, the Council is made up of many powerful Kangs. This means that the Avengers will have to work together to defeat them. The scene might also be a hint that Kang could be the villain in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. Since the Avengers will be fighting Kang next, it would make sense for the Fantastic Four to face him first.
2. ‘Quantumania’ Leads to ‘Loki’ Season 2
At the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, there is a new post-credits scene that shows a fourth version of Kang, named Victor Timely. He is a smart inventor and founder of a town in Wisconsin, which he uses to prepare for taking over the future. However, Victor Timely is actually a disguise for Prime Kang. In this scene, Loki and Mobius are in the crowd during Victor Timely’s presentation. Loki recognizes him as the villain he fears, and this sets up the next season of Loki, which will follow them as they try to stop different versions of Kang throughout the multiverse. The Quantumania end-credits scene suggests that Loki season 2 will happen soon, and we might find out more about Victor and his role in the story.
