Saving your game frequently is crucial to survival in this game. Remember, you cannot directly save your game from the menu; a shelter must be built first. How to save your game Sons of the Forest by building a shelter?
To save the game in Sons of the Forest, you need to find a suitable location to set up a shelter. Once you have found a safe spot, you can open the survival guide by pressing the “B” key on your keyboard (or the equivalent button on your controller). In the survival guide, navigate to the “Shelters” tab and choose the type of shelter you want to build. After selecting your preferred shelter, gather the necessary materials and construct it.
Once your shelter is built, you can save the game by sleeping in it. To sleep, approach the shelter and interact with it. This will bring up a prompt asking if you want to save and sleep. Choose “Yes” to save the game and progress to the next day.
