Loki Season 2 Release Date

Don’t worry, fans! Loki will return for its second season. This was announced during the first season’s end credits back in July 2021. Although the exact date hasn’t been released, Marvel Studios boss, Kevin Feige, announced at a comic-con event in 2022 that the second season will be available to watch on Disney+ in the summer of 2023. Tom Hiddleston, who stars as Loki, is excited about the new season and is grateful for the audience’s support. The writers are trying to make the second season even better than the first, but don’t expect it to be any weirder. Kevin Feige also mentioned that the second season is already in the works and is being developed.

Loki Season 2 Episodes

The second season of Loki will available in 6 episodes. Eric Martin will write all 6 episodes and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will direct most of them.

What will Loki season 2 be about?

The first season of the TV show “Loki” ended with a big event that caused the multiverse to be created. Some people thought that this event was connected to the movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and the character of Wanda. But, the movie “Doctor Strange” made it clear that the two stories were not connected. The multiverse was later shown in the movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. In season two, the main character Loki will have to face different challenges, including the arrival of Kang’s variants who will take control of the multiverse, and the battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. The director of season one, Kate Herron, has some ideas about where the story could go in the future, but it is unknown who will replace her as director. The last time we saw the character Sylvie, she was dealing with the consequences of her actions in Kang’s Citadel, but we will see more of her in the future.

Loki season 2 trailer

We don’t know when the official trailer for the show will be released. We heard about a special preview that was shown at an event in September 2022, but that’s all the information we have. The preview showed that Loki is back at the Time Variance Authority, but he’s not being recognized and he keeps disappearing and reappearing. The show will probably continue from where it left off, which is good because the ending had many unanswered questions. We probably won’t see a full trailer until a month before the show is released. Keep checking for updates and time will go by quickly.
