Mission: Impossible 8 is also known as Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two. It is a new action movie that will come out in 2024. It was written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who is also working with Tom Cruise to make the movie. The movie is based on a TV show called Mission: Impossible by Bruce Geller. This new movie is a direct continuation of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, which will come out in 2023.
Tom Cruise will play the main character, Ethan Hunt, for the eighth time. He has been playing this character for more than 28 years, and this movie is expected to be his last time playing Ethan Hunt. Many other actors from the previous movies in the series will also be returning, including Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, and Pom Klementieff. The villain in this movie will be played by Esai Morales, who was also in the previous movie.

Mission: Impossible 8 Production
In January 2019, Tom Cruise announced that two new Mission: Impossible movies would be made back-to-back, with Christopher McQuarrie writing and directing both films. The movies were originally set to be released in July 2021 and August 2022, but in February 2021, the plan changed.
The movies will serve as a “send-off” for the Ethan Hunt character. Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, and Pom Klementieff joined the cast in 2019, and Simon Pegg and Shea Whigham were added in December. Nicholas Hoult was also set to appear, but he was replaced by Esai Morales due to scheduling conflicts.
Filming for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two began in March 2022 and ended in December of that year. The movie was filmed in various locations, including the UK, Malta, South Africa, and Norway. The visual effects for the movie were created by Industrial Light & Magic, along with Clear Angle Studios and Halon Entertainment.
